Mustang Poets Writing Workshop

Mustang Poets 🐎 Every 4th Saturday of the Month

Thoughtful Poetry. Gentle Critique. Creative Growth.

Looking for meaningful feedback in a supportive poetry community?

Mustang Poets is a welcoming gathering of writers and poetry lovers who believe that strong poems grow through conversation. Whether you’re bringing a polished piece, a draft in progress, or a favorite poem by another writer, you’ll find engaged listeners and thoughtful discussion.

We focus on encouragement first — offering gentle, constructive critiques designed to help your work evolve while honoring your voice.

Each meeting includes:

  • 📖 Sharing poems — your own or by poets you admire
  • ✍️ Discussion of works-in-progress
  • 💬 Supportive, helpful critique
  • 🎓 A short craft talk to deepen your poetry skills
  • 🤝 Community with fellow writers who care about the art

Whether you’re just beginning or have been writing for years, Mustang Poets offers a space where craft and creativity meet kindness.

The lineup depends on who signs up, and the evening typically runs until around 9 PM, though it may go a bit longer or shorter depending on participation.

Important Notes:

  • Due to venue requirements, attendees must be 21+ or accompanied by a guardian.
  • The event is free—just show up, sign up, and share.
