Gary every sedona open mic

Sedona Library Open Mic Night

April 1st | Community Library Sedona

In collaboration with Community Library Sedona, we have been expanding our inaugural Poet Laureate program! On Wednesday, April 1, Poet Laureate Gary Every and Youth Poet Laureate Anya Blue Lior will host a poetry open mic at the Community Library Sedona firepit from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to read a verse around the warm cozy fire.

Participants can come to listen, share a favorite poem, or read something they have written themselves. We are hoping to experience a shared evening of love for literature as neighbors and new friends read poems to the community around a bonfire, which has been done long before the written word.

For more information on this and other city programs, contact Nancy Lattanzi at nlattanzi@sedonaaz.gov or 928-203-5061.
